Watergate

Saving The World One Tree At A Time…

Watergate have had yet another, fantastic week!

Through exploring deforestation, the children have been inspired to write to Boris Johnson to urge him to highlight the detrimental impact of deforestation within the Climate Change Conference this November! Using emotive language, the children created fantastic letters that we are sure Boris Johnson will enjoy reading.

Watergate have also been investigating the difference between rivers, seas and oceans this week. The children created beautiful PicCollages to present their knowledge and enjoyed finding out more about the world around them. Well done for all of your hard work, Watergate!

Within PE this week, Watergate have worked hard to compete within teams to complete athletic competitions, such as javelin, long jump, running and hurdles. It was a heroic victory from the Squirrels, followed closely by the Hedgehogs, Foxes and Owls.

Watergate had a swimming pool party to celebrate the end of term! Near the end of the swimming lesson, the children had fun playing with balls and floats within the pool. What a lovely way to end our half term!

We hope you have a lovely break and take advantage of the upcoming beautiful weather.
See you soon!
The Watergate team.
