Watergate

Love From Watergate

The children of Watergate have shone this week through their persuasive writing to Jack. Using the features of a persuasive text, they have put there all into writing and self-assessing a letter, which will hopefully persuade Jack to either climb or not climb the beanstalk. The level of participation from the children has been excellent, which has lead them to some really impressive writing pieces.

In Maths it has been a very enjoyable week in Watergate. The children have been measuring liquids, which has enabled them to make their own potions at home! One of our Watergate members even made dancing potion that caused her to dance non-stop!

In science, the children have been comparing objects that are dead and alive, alongside comparing different environments in Geography. Along with our usual Maths, Literacy and Topic, Watergate have come together this week through a whole class message, by decorating one word each to produce a heartfelt message. We dearly miss being in school altogether but it doesn’t stop us from sticking together as a class.

From the Year Two Team, we would like to say a huge thank you to all of our parents. You are all doing a fantastic job from home.
